Perched on top of a cliff, the first village of Bruniquel is a fabulous testimony of what medieval villages looked like in the 13th century. You'll have a walking tour there.
Then, it's off to the second village located 12 miles away. Puycelsi is another perched village and has the authentic look of a French village with its little church and main square where you'll generally see the elderly (usually men!) playing pétanque. You'll enjoy a walking tour of this town, too, and visit the church. The tour will end with a wine tasting session in or around Gaillac, one of the oldest vineyards of France.
Your Vere Valley tour will then return to your Toulouse hotel.
