Your Arles and Van Gogh half day tour will depart from the Aix-en-Provence tourism office on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Crossing the Crau Plain, you will arrive in Arles, a place painted by Van Gogh.

  • Tour days: Year round on Tuesday,  Thursday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Included: Arles with Place de la Republique, Saint-Trophime Church, Arles Forum Square, Arles Town Hall, places that Van Gogh painted
  • Vehicle: Air-conditioned minibus that seats 8 passengers

Arles is a town that is the masterpiece of the Roman period in Provence. In Arles, you will get to see the Roman Amphitheater. Also in Arles, you will see the Republic Square and the church of Saint-Trophime, a Romanesque style church built between the 12th and 15 century. Of note, too, will be the town hall and the Forum Square. During your time in Arles, you will follow in Van Gogh's footsteps passing by the actual places depicted in some of Van Gogh's famous paintings. You will see the actual Drawbridge, the Yellow House, and the places where he painted Starry Night Over the Rhone River, Night Cafe, and the Hospital Garden.
