Tour Fontainebleau Castle, Barbizon, and Castle of Vaux le Vicomte. Your Fontainebleau tour begins with a pickup at at your Paris hotel or apartment.

Your tour begins at Fontainebleau Palace to have an audio guided tour inside the castle. Fontainebleau was designed by King Francois I and the styles of Roman and Florentine architecture make it unique.

Next stop will be Barbizon, a village made famous by the artists Millet, Rousseau, and Stevenson. The artists wanted to paint from nature in a realistic style. Many of the subjects were peasants doing everyday work and were like landscape artists.

The final stop is the Castle of Vaux le Vicomte where you will have lunch.

After lunch, you will have an audio-guided tour of the main rooms of the Castle of Vaux le Vicomte. Vaux le Vicomte was built by Nicolas Fouquet in 1657. Fouquet was Louis XIV's Finance Minister at the time.

After Vaux le Vicomte, your tour will end with a return to your Paris hotel or apartment.
