Provence Group Tours

Take a tour of Provence with our Best of Provence Tour for three days and two nights. You will stay in Avignon and touring groups are small and in a minibus. Sightsee in Avignon, Les Baux de Provence, Roussillon, Bonnieux, and Van Gogh's St. Remy.

We also have an overnight trip to Provence to visit Marseille and Avignon.

Best of Provence Tour

Tour dates: available year round

Duration: three days and two nights (you can have additional days added and also can be a private tour for your group or family). The itinerary will vary depending upon the days you go to Provence.

Day 1: Avignon, Orange, Chateauneuf

Gordes Pick up at Avignon TGV Station and transfer to your hotel in the morning. Afternoon tour in Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape: Triumphal Arch, Antic Theater and enjoy a visit to vineyards with wine tasting. Dinner and accommodations in Avignon

Day 2: Provence Day

Pick up at your hotel to have a panoramic view of Avignon to see the main monuments of this splendid city.

Then you’ll visit the Pont du Gard, remains of a Roman Aqueduct from 100 AD.

The next stop will be Les Baux de Provence, a perched village in Les Alpilles de Provence. On the way to Les Baux, you’ll see the locks of Vallabregues on the Rhone River and also Tarascon with the 15^th century medieval castle of Roi Rene.

Avignon You’ll stop at Saint Remy de Provence to see a village built on one of the oldest archeological sites in Europe. Set among the olive trees and Van Gogh’s landscape, it’s a very memorable place to visit!

The afternoon in the Luberon will be a highlight taking you to the charming villages of Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux, and to the beautiful Roussillon, one of the most picturesque villages in France, famous for its red and yellow ocher cliffs. During July and August, you’ll visit the Lavender Museum to discover the flower symbol of Provence and to see a demonstration of distillation during the harvest.

Dinner and accommodations in Avignon

Note: Free time for lunch and market in Gordes (on Tuesday), St. Remy (on Wednesday), and Ile sur la Sorgue (on Sunday). The order of visits will then change accordingly.

Day 3: Arles and Van Gogh in Provence

Market You’ll be picked up at your hotel to discover the most beautiful sites painted by Van Gogh during his stay in Provence (1888-1890) between St. Remy de Provence and Arles.

Drop-off at Avignon TGV station in the afternoon.

Included in the trip cost: two nights in a 2** hotel, breakfasts, two dinners, transfers and transportation by minibus with English-speaking driver/guide, entrance fees

Tour Price for the Best of Provence Tour is based on accommodations in a 2 star hotel and the rate per person is according to the group size as follows:

Two people: 535€/person

Four people: 445€/person

Six people: 395€/person

Eight people: 350€/person

If you wish accommodations in a 3 star hotel, the additional charge is 45 €/person. For accommodations in a 4 star hotel, add an additional 130 €/person.

For Single supplement add 55 € in a 2 star hotel; 105 € in a 3 star hotel; 150 € in 4 star hotel

Provence and Marseille

Take a tour to Provence to visit Marseille, Avignon, Saint Remy, Les Baux de Provence, and the Pont du Gard. This two day tour departs at 7:00 AM near the Louvre and is an overnight trip returning at 10:45 PM the second day.

Dates: Monday and Thursday from April 5 to October 14

Included: TGV tickets, 3* accommodation, breakfast, touring in Provence
