You'll be picked up at your cruise ship in Le Verdon and drive to Bordeaux to see this historic city. During the panoramic tour of Bordeaux, the guide will show you some of the famous landmarks in Bordeaux including Esplanade des Quinconces, Colonnes des Girondins, Grand Théâtre, Allées de Tourny, Cours de l'Intendance, Pont de Pierre, Saint-André Cathedral, and Tour Pey Berland (1440–1450). Two Days in Le Verdon

If you instead wish to do St. Emilion in the afternoon, you'll drive to St. Emilion (about 45 minutes from Bordeaux) to do guided walking tour of the picturesque town. You'll also have some free time to wander and shop on your own and can participate in a free wine tasting session in the village.
The day will end with a visit and wine tasting session in a classified growth of the Saint Emilion appellation before your return to your Bordeaux cruise ship.

Graves and Sauternes Wine Tour
You will be picked up at your Bordeaux cruise ship for this 8 hour tour. The tour will include a discovery of the Pessac Léognan appellation to enjoy the visit and wine tasting in two chateaux including a classified growth. After some free time for lunch, you will head towards the Sauternes region and after a drive through the vineyards and beautiful landscape of the area, you will do a visit and wine tasting session in a classified growth of the Sauternes or Barsac appellations.
