The 2013 French Open has begun in Paris! Like always, it should be another exciting event. Last year's male champion, Rafael Nadal managed to escape defeat in his first-round match against Daniel Brand of Germany. Maria Sharapova also won her first-round match against Hsieh Su-wei of Taiwan. Whew! This year's French Open is off to a good start.
It’s a privilege to travel and always wondrous to visit new places! Last fall, I had a private backstage tour of Roland Garros and as a tennis player and fan of the sport, it was a thrill to see it all. Contact us to arrange for a Paris private tour that can include Roland Garros and so much more of France’s capital city.
I’ll arrive in Paris Saturday, June 1, 2013, and will miss the French Open. Instead, I’ll be in France escorting my group to tour Paris and then heading to Normandy where we’ll be attending the 69th Anniversary Celebrations of the Allied Invasion on June 6th. It should be fun as always.
Contact us, too, to learn about our Normandy and Paris D-Day Escorted Tour in May and June 2014 that will commerate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. It promises to be memorable and we’ll begin with Paris before enjoying several days in Normandy, including the events on June 6th.
