Take an Impressionist tour to Monet's Giverny and Van Gogh's Auvers-sur-Oise on Sunday or Wednesday from April through October.

Your tour will begin with a Paris hotel or apartment pickup by your driver guide.

  • Duration: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Included: Tour stops at Monet's Giverny home and gardens, Giverny Museum of Impressionism, Auvers-sur-Oise; lunch at Moulin de Fourges

The day will begin in Giverny to tour Claude Monet's home and gardens. The Giverny Japanese bridge and water lilies were subjects of so many of Claude Monet's paintings and you will get to see these. Monet lived in the house from 1883 until he died in 1926 and though he never traveled to Japan, the house is full of Japanese woodblock prints.

You will also have time to visit the Giverny Museum of Impressionism. The Museum is dedicated to the history and movement of Impressionism (and the Orsay Museum in Paris provides scientific backing).

The tour includes lunch at the Moulin de Fourges.

Notre Dame d'AuversYour tour will continue to Auvers-sur-Oise whereVan Gogh's Notre Dame d'Auvers (in Orsay Museum) Van Gogh's lived and painted for the last 100 days of his life. You will have a guided tour of the village and visit the Auberge Ravoux (where he lived) to see Van Gogh's bedroom, to see Notre Dame d'Auvers that he painted (the one that is now in the Orsay Museum) as well as the Auvers town hall also painted by him. Van Gogh is buried at the edge of town next to his beloved brother Theo.

At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your Paris hotel or apartment.
